Chef Sayber Cloud is a proud Michigander, born in Benton Harbor and raised in Muskegon, Michigan. Now based in Columbus, Ohio, she brings her passion for food to life through her private dining service, which focuses on using local, high-quality ingredients to create unforgettable culinary experiences. Her love for cooking began at an early age, inspired by a family of talented cooks. After high school, she pursued a culinary education at Baker College, but after the heartbreaking loss of her second oldest brother, she stepped away from the program, believing her journey in the kitchen had come to an end. Years later, an opportunity reignited her passion when a new culinary program opened at her local community college. Determined to give her dreams another shot, she enrolled—and in 2017, she earned her associate degree in Culinary Arts and Sustainable Food from Kalamazoo Valley Community College, all while pregnant with her first child, Emric. In 2020, she welcomed her second child, Alani, during the pandemic. This time allowed her to create cherished memories with her children while embracing life as a full-time mompreneur, refining her skills and deepening her love for the craft. Now, Sayber is embracing her second chance—this time, with faith at the center of her journey. She is relaunching her business with a renewed purpose, blending her culinary expertise with her commitment to God. Her signature style transforms American comfort food with international flavors and innovative techniques, ensuring every dish is crafted with intention and love. From her kitchen to yours, she shares her heartfelt mantra:
